i grew up on film cameras & later fell in love with prints again after taking a film + developing class in junior high (darkroom and all). my very first point-and-shoot digital camera was this little cute (but now low-key embarrassing) lime green casio camera, which was so special to me at the time as it captured so many of the moments between my friends and me in our early school days.

but when DSLRs became more popular, I saved up & bought my first one in high school and went trigger-happy. since then, i have been constantly shooting whatever & whenever i can and learning different + creative ways to edit & make art (catch me roaming downtown, 35mm film camera in hand). i've had a creative spirit since childhood and have taken a few classes (including a year of post-secondary art school). but for the most part, i'm self-taught (and still learning) & i am always eager to push my own creative boundaries whenever i can!

i've also been lucky enough to have the experience of helping to lead, manage, organize & train volunteer teams that consist of content creators, photographers, videographers, and editors which i am still currently doing from time to time.
